Upgrade the CARS is a 3D driving runner where every gate you pass changes your ride for better or worse. Steer through green plus gates to boost your engine, body and top speed, and swerve around the red minus gates that strip your hard-earned upgrades. Each finished run pays cash based on how far you pushed your build, and that money goes straight back into your garage: new parking spots, fresh cars to unlock, and a texture shop to restyle your collection. Push deep enough into the track and giant kaiju start blocking the road â you'll need to mount weapons to blast through them.
Tips & Strategy
- Prioritize engine gates early â higher speed lets you reach more gates per run, which compounds your upgrade gains.
- One red gate won't ruin a run, but two in a row usually will. It's worth steering wide to avoid them even if you miss a green gate.
- Bank your cash into new parking spots first. Each extra car slot is a permanent income multiplier for every future run.
- Don't sell your first car too early â its fully upgraded form earns more per run than a stock second car.
- When kaiju appear, weapon upgrades beat speed. A fast car that can't clear a blocker earns nothing past that point.
